This quarter, Mission In Motion's Surveys to Serve program is directing donations to Turnstone Center for Children and Adults with Disabilities. Turnstone's mission is to empower people with disabilities to achieve their highest potential through comprehensive services and programs. Every survey response our clients submit helps fund that work, and this post covers what Turnstone does and why it matters.
For more than eight decades, Turnstone has served children and adults with physical disabilities across northeast Indiana, building a menu of programs that few organizations can match. Occupational and recreational therapy, childcare, adult day services, and more all live under one roof, so families can find whatever they need without being sent elsewhere. The programs have grown and changed over the years, but the commitment hasn't: helping people with disabilities gain independence and live with dignity.
Turnstone runs adaptive sports and recreation programs for children and adults with physical or visual disabilities, spanning recreational, competitive, and elite-level offerings run by certified coaches. Its facility has earned national recognition as an Olympic and Paralympic training site, but the day-to-day impact is local. Turnstone's advocacy work reached over 40,000 individuals by raising awareness of community needs and reducing barriers to essential services. Families in Fort Wayne get access to elite-level training environments and everyday support in the same building.
Mission In Motion built Surveys to Serve to turn client feedback into direct nonprofit support, and Turnstone is this quarter's partner. If you're a client being served by our Salesforce team, taking a few minutes to complete your service survey helps fund their programs directly.
