This quarter, Mission in Motion is directing its Surveys to Serve donations to the Minority Engineering Program of Indianapolis (MEPI). This organization has spent four decades helping young people discover what's possible through STEM. Each survey our Salesforce clients complete results in a donation that helps MEPI keep opening doors for students who might not otherwise see themselves in engineering or technology careers.
Founded in 1986, MEPI was built to expose minority students in grades 6 through 12 to engineering careers and encourage academic excellence. The program runs monthly Saturday sessions filled with hands-on engineering projects, field trips, college and career preparation, and scholarship opportunities. Over its 40-year history, MEPI has introduced more than 5,000 students to STEM and built a strong network of corporate, university, and community partners who are committed to helping students see a future in technical fields.
MEPI's programming continues to evolve alongside the STEM landscape. Students work with robotics, coding, mechanical and electrical engineering, web development, aerospace engineering, and design challenges, as well as college-readiness programming that prepares them for what comes next. Recent additions include STEM boot camps and hands-on experiences with 3D printing, virtual reality, and high-power rocketry. MEPI's Rocket Bootcamps let students build and launch flight-ready rockets while learning about aerodynamics, propulsion, and real-world aerospace careers, giving them a firsthand look at engineering in action.
We started Surveys for Success because we believe good client relationships and good community impact should go hand in hand. Every survey response tells us how we're doing and helps decide which cause we support next. If you're one of our clients, taking a few minutes to share your feedback helps us keep this donation going and supports students at MEPI as they take their next step toward a STEM career.
